WestCana Services Inc. is a support service company that provides quality services to elders in long-term care facilities and assisted living sites. Reporting to the Support Services Manager (or designate) the Dietary Aide is responsible for the food preparation, portioning, cleaning and is also responsible for meal service.
The Chef/Cook will provide Food Services to all residents. The Food Service department provides food and beverages for all meals and activities. As a member of the food service staff the qualified candidate will properly and safely cook, appropriately season, and attractively present food.
Reporting to Support Services Manager the Cook is responsible for all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation for a senior’s facility.
Under the direction and supervision of the Support Services Manager or designate, the Receptionist performs general reception and clerical duties. All duties are performed in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of the organization.
Housekeeper & Laundry Aides
Reporting to the Support Services Manager the Housekeeping and Laundry Aides are responsible for housekeeping and laundry in a long term care/retirement community.
Support Services Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Support Services Manager is responsible for all aspects of the food services, housekeeping and laundry departments for a senior’s care facility or long term care facility.
The Maintenance person is responsible for the effective functioning and appearance of the physical site, furniture, equipment and the preventative maintenance program. They are responsible for the security of the building and play a major role in ensuring the safety of staff and residents.
The Guest Attendant is responsible for responding to emergent calls from residents and staff. In addition this position is responsible for portering supplies, project cleaning and security sweeps in a retirement community.
